Redwood Ties Petaluma in a Tight Extra Inning Slug-fest

In a never say die game, Giant bats kept the team competitive against a hard hitting Petaluma team.  Jack Morken had another multiple hit game with three hits and three RBIs.  Morken was followed by Anthony Pomilia, two hits and one RBI, and two RBIs by Luke Zlatunich.  The rest of the Giants followed with aggressive base running making plenty of opportunities.

The last score of a back and forth battle was driven in by Morken in the top of the 7th putting the Giants in a position for a come from behind win.  Sadly, the game was interrupted by the setting of the sun.

The bump was given to Nick Welch who lead a strong defensive effort against the out-sized Petaluma offense.  Robbie Wilson finished the night keeping the Giants within striking distance.
