The Redwood Baseball community is mourning the loss of rising senior Myles Kawashima who passed away on July 5, 2021 following a tragic boat accident. Unanimously voted “Most Inspirational Player” by his varsity teammates this past spring, Myles was a valued member of our student community both on and off the football and baseball field. The Redwood community and, especially our senior class, are feeling his loss very deeply.

The Kawashima family is holding a Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Myles Kawashima at Redwood High School on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the outdoor amphitheater.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the Kawashima family kindly requests that donations be made to the Myles Kawashima Student Athlete Fund to support RHS senior athletes’ post high-school education.
