2/29/20:  After defeating Petaluma on Wednesday, the JV defeated the other JV team in Petaluma, with a 6-1 victory today at Moody Field.  Casa Grande took an early lead in the second inning, scoring one run but Redwood put two on the board in the third and scored four runs in the fourth to get their third straight win of the season. 

Brian Sternberger started the third with a double, and Colin Cuneen doubled him home.  Then Connor Yang singled to left and scored Colin.Connor picked up his second RBI in the fifth inning when he crushed a double to left field and scored Tyler Blair from first.  Dillon Jenson hit a grounder and Connor scored. Nick Scott hit a single.  Will Davis doubled with two outs and scored Dillon and   Nick Scott made it to third.  Then Brian Sternberger lined one to left and Nick Scott scored.  Connor Yang and Brian Sternberger each ended the day with multiple hits and Brian Sternberger going 3 – 3.

The defense was strong with no errors in the field.  Nick Gehrman pitched the first 4 innings and was relieved by Tyler Blair.  Together they had 7 strikeouts and only gave up 1 run.
