The Giants bested the Pirates in a very important league game.  Blake Cusack pitched six masterful frames to lead the Giants into the sixth inning with a 4 – 1 lead.  Run support came from a Cale Tippet double and singles from Pascal Brassey, Josh Cohen, Noah Arrick, Luke Zlantanich, and Jake Kristy.  Dane Goodman sacrificed in a run.

While the Pirates where able to score two in the bottom of the sixth, Josh Cohen,  pitching in the seventh, and the defense shut down the Pirates in the end.
