Nicolas Belgium slides into 2nd base for 1 of his 2 stolen bases.  Belgium led all Giants hitters with 2 hits and dominated from the mound yielding just  4 hits and 2 earned runs to a tough Pirates line-up.  He would have to leave the game in the 6th with the Giants up 5-3. Drake exploded for 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th taking the lead 6-5.  Redwood’s road curse reared its ugly head again as the Giants couldn’t answer in the top of the 7th, stranding runners in scoring position and they walked out of San Anselmo taking their 2nd loss to Drake while taking their 2nd loss in a row.  Of the Giants 5 losses on the season, 4 have come on the road.  Sam Roiz, Aaron Halford, Riley Moore, Zach Tonnerre and Trevor Foehr all had hits on the day.   Moore also shut the Pirates down after their flurry in the bottom of the 6th.  The Giants will take on San Rafael at home on Thursday and hope to reverse the road jinx as they travel to Terra Linda on Saturday.
