3/24: 4 – 3 Win @ Home vs. Tam

Redwood and Tam battled in a see-saw match on Tuesday at Moody Field.  Redwood took the lead early, dropping a crooked number (2) on the board in the bottom of the 3rd.  Tam answered, tying the score in the top of the 4th.   Redwood took the lead when they scored in the bottom of the 6th, and it looked like the Giants would knock out the #1 NCS ranked Red-Tailed Hawks and Tyler Peck would bring home his 5th win in as many starts.  But Tam rallied in the top of the 7th for a run and the Giants couldn’t answer in their half of the inning.  It seemed like a victor would never be named until Aaron Dorfler led off the bottom of the 10th with a double and Parker Laret would later knock him in on a deep drive to right field.  Laret, Eric Doctor and Sophomore Aubey Sine led the Giants hitters with 2 hits each.  Zach Cohen earned his 2nd MCAL win in as many games and is slated to start vs. Novato on Friday night.
