Nicolas Belgium pitched 5 2/3 innings and gave up only 1 run to a stout Tam offense. The Giants scored their run in the 3rd when Sam Roiz hit a seed to the gap for an easy double, but when Tam botched the exchange on the relay, he scored. The Giants led by that run until Tam tied the game in the bottom of the 6th. In a true pitchers dual, the game remained tied until the bottom of the 9th when Tam plated the winning run on a bases loaded walk-off single to right. The Giants had an errorless game in the field, but like Tam, mustered only 5 hits in the game. Roiz and Aaron Halford both had doubles, while Henry Zeisler, Riley Moore and Michael Benz each contributed hits to the Giants total. The loss brings the Giants MCAL record to 1-1 and their season record to 7-2.
